The Five-Subject Notebook
Every day, or every week, or every once in awhile, make entries in some or all of the sections, of whatever length you want.
This practice will reset your internal dialogue and bounce you to a better baseline in terms of bringing about the reality you want.
The five categories are labelled:

Notes to Angels
Goals
Affirmations
This format - lists or sentences - will keep you from spiraling into journaling, where your typical saboteur can more easily take over.
