Synopsis of Session 3 of Let Love Find You Class

Session 3 gave everyone a chance to transform their biggest obstacle.

We did check-ins, centered our minds, and shared what we are learning from the actions we assigned ourselves, the trio meetings, 1-1 coaching in some cases, and the readings from Atieno’s free guide, The Mastery of Love, Calling in the One, and Ask and It Is Given.

The rest of the session was dedicated to Step 3 – making a plan!

We discussed:
What comes up as we turn attention to externals? Can you remember a time when taking action moved you from stuck to inspired? How easy is it to take action while being unattached to the results? Where on a scale of 1-10 would you rank your confidence level in terms of moving easily toward your goal with all appropriate actions along the way?

We then did an exercise that helped each person to:
~ create a total long term plan of action
~ identify the biggest hurdle for them in this whole effort
~ utterly transform it and remove it as an obstacle by the end of the exercise.
~ map out a schedule of what to accomplish by when

Examples of the latter included: throw out old ex stuff, clean out space, redecorate, buy new clothes, establish fitness regimen, apply for new job, finish reading, (re)write online profile, establish online rhythm, join 3 clubs, host singles event, do something glamorous and different, choose friends more consciously, add nature to my life, seek out energy healer, take confidence from 7 to 9.5…

The exercise used corporate sculptures in which everyone served everyone else. Seeing a physical image of the obstacle gave some people a strong sense of insight into their current situation. “Cropping the image” and finding what was “not that” in the image as the basis for the next sculpture was also a powerful way of transforming it.

Our Skype member was a delighted audience participant, with a bird’s-eye view of each sculpture.

The time ended with setting individual goals for the coming two week period and sharing what we learned from the session.
